Your focus in this post will be on Social Care including care homes and other care settings.
As this role requires frequent attendance at care homes and other social care settings, where Covid vaccination is mandatory, applicants for this role will need to either be fully vaccinated, willing to be vaccinated or be able to show a medical exemption for consideration.
Main purpose(s) of the post
As a key member of the Engagement Team, your focus will be on engaging with the public and gaining their views and experiences of social care and health services in Liverpool.
You will work closely with service providers, commissioners, public bodies and Liverpool’s diverse communities, using the feedback obtained from the public to improve social care and health services in Liverpool.
This role encompasses office based and community-based activities and may require frequent attendance at meetings with social care providers, commissioners and diverse public and service user groups including outside normal office hours.
Salary £18,733 (£23,417 FTE)
28 hours a week (0.8 FTE)
Subject to an enhanced DBS and satisfactory references
25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays (rising to 30 days with long service)
Fixed term until 31st March 2023 with the possibility of extension until 31st March 2025 subject to funding. There will be a 6 month probationary period.
