Video: Introduction to our work

What are we doing?

Liverpool City Council have asked us to improve co-production of services for people with learning disabilities and people who are neurodivergent in Liverpool. We want to work together with people who have lived experience to help influence positive change.

We have helped to set up two separate groups; one for learning disability and one for people who are neurodivergent (autistic or ADHD).

We gather feedback in different ways

We know that in-person meetings are not accessible for everyone so we have lots of different ways that we'll share information with you and likewise, you can share your experience with us:

  • Email
  • WhatsApp
  • Facebook Groups (request to join)
  • Phone calls
  • YouTube
  • Sub-group meetings - These are led by Healthwatch Liverpool and are held online or in-person. These are for members with lived experience to discuss their experiences and plan things.
  • Partnership Board -These are led with Liverpool City Council and local organisations. These meetings are for people with lived experience and professionals to work together.
