We are working with neurodivergent people to gather experiences of using services in Liverpool.

If you are neurodivergent and live in Liverpool or have a Liverpool GP then we want to hear from you.

How to get involved

If you have something to say about NHS, social care or other Liverpool City Council services then there are lots of ways to get involved.

Sub-group

An informal safe space for people with lived experience to come together and discuss their experiences of services in the city. The things we talk about during these sub-group meetings help shape the discussions at the more formal Neurodiversity Strategic Partnership meetings.

The sub-group meets monthly, alternating between online and in-person meet ups.

Neurodiversity Strategic Partnership

Where professionals and people with lived experiences come together to talk about their experiences of using NHS, social care and other Liverpool City Council services.

Professionals who attend include representatives from Liverpool City Council, Healthwatch Liverpool and relevant organisations who work with neurodivergent people depending on the subjects being discussed on the day.

Unheard voices*

For people who would otherwise find in-person meetings inaccessible or they are not available at the times at which they take place there are other ways to feed in their experiences via WhatsApp, email, text message or telephone. (See the contact details below).

*Unheard voices was the terminology decided upon by the people who are part of the group.

Facebook Group

We have a private Facebook Group which people can join to take part in discussions or observe if that is what you prefer.

Examples of best practice

Members of this group have been working with Alice to discuss what is currently working well in Hospitals and GP practices (although other topics come up too).

Members felt it was important to discuss what is working well and to share/circulate this with organisations.
