Patients advised to allow more time to park at Aintree Hospital for the next couple of weeks

Patients going to Aintree University Hospital are being advised to allow more time to park after the top floor of the multi-storey park car was closed for repair work.

The closure, which applies from the evening of Tuesday, 6 November, means the temporary loss of  250 spaces.

A spokesman said: “While we have more than 3,500 car parking spaces at Aintree, we would still apologise for the inconvenience that this will cause, as it is likely that the multi-storey will be full by around 9.30am. However, the repairs are essential for safety reasons and the top floor has to be closed while they take place. We expect the work to last around two weeks.”
