The NHS in Liverpool wants your views on stoma products and support services

The NHS in Liverpool wants to improve care for adults and children using stoma products. Before making any changes they’d like to hear from people using stoma products and their families.

If you or someone you care for uses stoma products, Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) are asking you to take a few minutes to tell them what you think by filling in this short survey.

A stoma is an opening on your abdomen that can be connected to either your digestive or urinary system. There are three main types: colostomy, ileostomy and urostomy. Stoma surgery is undertaken to treat a range of illnesses including cancer, diverticulitis and Crohn’s disease or following a trauma to the abdomen.

You can read about the changes proposed here and respond to the short survey to share your thoughts. The survey is open until Monday 23rd September 2019.
