New entrance at Aintree University Hospital
Work to create a new, much larger, main entrance to Aintree University Hospital starts Monday, 2 November.
The scheme is part of the renovation of the hospital’s Tower Block and provides improvements to the hospital’s main entrance and reception area, benefitting patients and staff. A temporary entrance will be in place just yards from the current main entrance for the duration of this part of the overall project. Because of the space needed for the work, there will be no drop off outside the temporary entrance, as this space is required to maintain parking for Blue Badge holders. The work on the entrance is expected to continue until summer 2021.
