Enter and View Report: The Hamlets August 2022

In August 2022, we visited The Hamlets, a nursing care home in Dingle. We wanted to find out what the service was like for its residents, what they were doing well, and if there were any areas for improvement.

Overall, we felt our visit was positive. The management of the home had recently changed and the current management team were upfront about the challenges the home had faced under the previous management. They had taken action to make positive changes, and had identified further areas for improvement. We were impressed by their honesty, openness and willingness to discuss these issues with us. The home was also clean, tidy, and had a pleasant atmosphere on the day of our visit. Staff seemed caring.
