Updated 28 May 2021

Our health and social care service visits and community based activities are currently suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic and it seems unlikely that we will be doing any ‘in person’ engagement activities until later in 2021.  Many people sign up to volunteer with their local Healthwatch to specifically participate in these activities so it’s important to let you know at this stage that most things will be taking place remotely.

Get involved as a Project Volunteer

As a Healthwatch Liverpool Project volunteer you can support us with a wide range of activities including:

  • Supporting us to design surveys and to collect and analyse data from these surveys.
  • Participate in, take notes and help to facilitate focus groups.

  • Contribute to the write up of focus group reports for publication.

  • Support our staff in interviewing and transcribing interviews undertaken with participants of Healthwatch Liverpool projects.

  • Conduct research and read and summarise reports.

  • Attend online and/or community based wellbeing activities and provide feedback to the HWL team.

  • Proof read our reports and documents and provide feedback.

  • Contact community based services by telephone and email on our behalf.

  • Support us to promote the work of Healthwatch Liverpool via word of mouth and social media platforms.
