About this event
Do you have a relative, friend, or other loved one who has been living in a care home (residential or nursing) during the COVID-19 pandemic? We'd like to hear from you about your experiences, and the experiences of your loved one.
We previously held a focus group on Care Homes in October 2020. In this group, people told us they had not been able to see or speak to their loved one as often as they would like, and that they found it difficult to get information about how their loved one was doing. People told us this had a significant impact on their own wellbeing, as well as their relatives' wellbeing. People also told us that they wanted the additional care they often provided for their relatives during visits to be acknowledged and recognised. You can read more about what people told us in our focus group report here.
We're holding another focus group to find out what people's experiences with care homes have been since October 2020. How are homes communicating with residents' loved ones? What is visiting like? If you have a loved one in a care home, we'd like to hear from you.
BSL and language interpretation is available for this meeting. Please let us know if you will need an interpreter to join the meeting.
This focus group will take place via Zoom, an online video conferencing app. You can join with a laptop, tablet, smartphone, or you can also dial in on a telephone to join the group. If you have any questions or queries about the focus group, please get in touch.
Places are limited, so please register in advance.
